We conceptualized and created a Facebook gaming experience designed to challenge the memorization skills of incoming freshmen, and also provide them with a social media forum to meet each other, even before they show up on the first day of school. So there’s a fun and relevant element of learning, and also a way to break the ice and maybe make a few friends before classes start, through some healthy competition. This is what we call a branded experience, where the interaction and the content are real, touchable representations of the company’s mission. So users aren’t just reading an ad about something, they’re living it.
